A Look Back & A Look Forward

Two thousand eight is officially gone and two thousand nine has come straight out of left field!  Seriously, where does the time go?

I had a pretty tame NYE.  It was spent reminiscing with some old friends, flipping cups, determining the geekiest new years resolution, and thinking up the worst possible escalator situation (which, if you're wondering, would be getting kicked out of a party by a huge bouncer with a bat and having to exit by running down a slippery up-escalator.  Or maybe it was having to climb up a slippery down-escalator while carrying 20 pizzas and wearing an easter bunny costume).
